Awesome run today! Dropped kiddies off at school and headed for a little run that turned in an hour. ️Stopped at every bench to do different body weight exercises to max out! Video posted soon. In the meantime, here is a breakdown of my Trail Run Workout.
Hit the Road Workout
Duration: 60 minutes. FYI: I intended to only run 30 minutes. The best part about exercise is more often than not, once you start running or lifting weights, you feel so amazing that you go longer 🙂
So I dropped the kiddies off at school and Hit the Road.
- 3 minutes: Warm up at my car: arm circles, torso twists, knee pulls, calf raises
- Hit the Trail: Jog / warm up 5 min
- Stop at EVERY BENCH and do 3 EXERCISES to FAILURE: pick 3 moves from the list below and do that exercise until you cannot do anymore. Then move on the the 2nd exercise to failure. Then the 3rd. Then run to the next bench.
- Push Ups
- Plank Jax
- Naughty Ninja Squats
- 1 leg Show Off Push Ups
- Fit Mom Mtn. Climbers
- Alt. Side Hops
- Booty-licious Butt Kicks
- Slow jog the last 5 minutes. Stop and pet a cute puppy. Watch the birds fly over the ocean. Praise yourself. Notice how good you feel. Take deep breaths. Be proud of your accomplishments. Now go do the laundry. 🙂
