If you love warm, gooey, chocolatey cookies, you will love these! There is NO white sugar and there IS healthy garbanzo beans which gives a nutritious boost of fiber. You will NOT even know there are beans in this recipe, it’s THAT GOOD! Pinky Swear!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 15 oz can garbanzo beans rinsed and drained
- 1/4 cup lite maple syrup
- dark chocolate chips
- 3 Tbs. peanut butter or almond butter
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 Tbs. chocolate or Vanilla Protein Powder
- 1/2 cup oats
- dash of salt
DIRECTIONS
Blend oats, protein powder & salt in the blender or food processor. Combine oat mixture and remaining ingredients in a mixing bowl. I like the ones with the handles, pour spout and not slip bottom. (see ez links below) Mix until cookie dough-like consistency. Fold in chocolate chips. Spoon with scooper in even sizes on lined baking sheet and Bake 350 degrees 15-20 minutes
