Recipe | Healthier Chocolate Chip Cookies aka Bean Cookies

If you love warm, gooey, chocolatey cookies, you will love these! There is NO white sugar and there IS healthy garbanzo beans which gives a nutritious boost of fiber. You will NOT even know there are beans in this recipe, it’s THAT GOOD! Pinky Swear!

INGREDIENTS

1 15 oz can garbanzo beans rinsed and drained

1/4 cup lite maple syrup, we like this one here

dark chocolate chips, we like this sugar free one

3 Tbs. peanut butter or almond butter, we like this one and buy in bulk from Amazon (all-natural just peanuts and salt)

1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

2 Tbs. chocolate or Vanilla Protein Powder

1/2 cup oats

dash of salt

DIRECTIONS

Blend oats, protein powder & salt in the blender or food processor. Combine oat mixture and remaining ingredients in a bowl. Mix until cookie dough-like consistency. Fold in chocolate chips.

Spoon with cookie scoop in even sizes on baking sheet and Bake 350 degrees 15-20 minutes
