I usually train first thing in the morning. If I’m doing a weight training session, I will workout on an empty stomach. If I’m doing a huge workout or HIIT that is intense, I will eat something light such as a banana and almond butter. I have a very fast metabolism, so I make sure that I don’t lose steam in the middle of a big workout. Sometimes, I will bring a protein bar and eat a couple of bites if it’s an especially tough session.
