It's flu season. Everyone everywhere is coughing, sneezing, germs all over. It's so stressful. Both of my daughters have gotten sick, dispite my constant reminders of washing their hands, not touching public surfaces unless necessary, staying away from sick people, etc. Here is a cough syrup option that uses ingredients you probably have around the house. I like that it doesn't have any chemicals, only ingredients you can pronounce.
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cups organic honey
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
Directions: Put into small mason jar and shake well. Keep in the refrigerator. My daughter took 1 tsp. Adults 1 Tbs.
