💪🏼SWEAT! Ok, you knew that was coming so I thought I’d lead with it lol) go for a walk, lift weights, dance, take an online class, do a bodyweight workout with squats push-ups playing bicycles. ☎️PHONE HOME: call a friend or family member. Brighten someone’s day! Interact with people who give you energy. Steer clear of people who are overly dramatic, all about them, or leave you feeling drained.

🐶 PLAY! Play affectionately with your kids and pets! This is a fast and simple way to trigger happiness! Their unconditional love, silliness and sincere joy is contagious! During quarantine it seems we’re constantly telling kids what they should do. Sometimes, being silly catches them off guard and brings a smile to their face, which brings a smile to yours

🎧CRANK IT! Listen to loud music! Rock, hip-hop, pop, jazz, R&B, any type of music that makes you feel good, makes you dance, gives you energy and positive feelings! I find that music takes my mind to different times and memories where I heard the songs, which is great for reducing stress

🧘SHH. No phones, no computers, no TV. Sit in the quiet and just focus on hearing and feeling your breathing. Take deep breaths through your nose and exhale slowly through your mouth. I try to do this for at least 5 minutes per day. I have a little corner of my room with a floor cushion and candles. It feels really good to focus on nothing but breathing and quiet

📅 DAY OFF. If you’re working from home, when was the last time you Took the day off?  Working from home can be alot more work than going work. Not only are you doing business work but household chores, childcare, homeschooling, mixed in. 😳 Sometimes you just need to say “today is a NO workday” and do something YOU want to do. Go for a long walk, go to the beach, watch the sunset, stretch, get take out for dinner, catch up on your favorite shows and just take the day to do what YOU want to do

🎨 CREATE SOMETHING: Sometimes when I feel out of balance creating some thing it’s just what I need. I love buying extra large canvases and paints to have around the house my daughters and I will have a painting afternoon which is really great for the creative side of your brain. I also love making macramé wall hanging’s! I seriously learned to macramé while I was in Girl Scouts! I have never forgotten how to do it! I love the tactile feeling of the rope and creating something beautiful from my spool of rope and shells that I have collected! I will share my latest wall hanging on my stories! I hung it on a large piece of driftwood I collected at the beach #treasures I also love making friendship bracelets and necklaces. I have boxes of beads, stones and crystals that I’ve collected over the years. It’s a fun and relaxing way to do something creative together☮️ I also love the local craft, wood working and painting places! Fun to create and leave the mess there!
