Aloha! I took this photo on the island of Kauai.

This little bird appears next to me every morning at breakfast. Our family has long believed that this is a sign of a passed family member or close friend who’s spirit is coming to visit & let us know they are all right. (Either that or he’s a smart bird eating the kids crumbs off the floor!?)

I just love the tranquility of the photo, the peaceful energy, the bright flowers against the neutral island background. I can smell the plumeria flowers, taste the kona coffee and hear the ocean when I look at this photo.
